Dianne & Lorin Leavitt – Synergy Company
Before I really got into MLM, I had never heard of network marketing. But now that I am quite familiar with it, I still find it fascinating. I think my biggest thing for me is that I have never heard of people being this unselfish. I don’t know if it scripted or not, but everyone I have met talks about how they want to help others become successful.
I know people who don’t even make 1/3 of what MLM top earners make in a month, and they have the worst attitudes. As I have said before, the moral in corporate America is horrible. How could it not be when you don’t know where you next paycheck is coming from one month to the next?
On the other hand, the morale at multilevel marketing events is nothing short of enthusiastic. The energy and positivity is off the charts. Relationship marketers are glad to see each other and provide any information they can to help everyone’s home- based business grow. I wrote about one independent distributor who said he has been in MLM for over 10 years, and he has never, ever missed an event. It didn’t matter to him where in the world it was taking place, he made it his duty to be there.
I am going to tell you, if you have never experienced an MLM event for yourself, you don’t know what you are missing. The celebration, the positive messages, the encouragement, it is exciting. You have such a good feeling being around people who share the same dreams and goals that you do.
If you are wondering if there is something to this, there is actually. Just look at children. It doesn’t matter if they come from a household that has money or not, if there is no encouragement, no positivity, no caring of their well-being, their life doesn’t fair well.
I know of a woman who lives in the suburbs, resides in a million dollar home, and stays in a gated community. She has three children (they are adults now), and when they were growing up, she would brag about how she spoiled them. “I give my children anything they want.”
The results of this: one daughter is an alcoholic, her son has mental issues, and her other daughter is in abusive relationship. None of them have ever been to college, and I am not sure if they even finished high school. My point is that by giving your children a sense of entitlement, you have raised some really messed-up adults.
My childhood was the total opposite. Not only were I and my siblings spoiled, we knew that when our parents said “no,” that was the final word. There were no temper tantrums, because we didn’t want to suffer the consequences. This is not to say our parents didn’t take care of us, because they did. I was raised in a two-parent household, in which mom and dad were both employed.
Therefore, we learned early on how to take care of ourselves and a household. All of us know how to cook, and I am not just speaking of boiling pasta. I am talking about a meal, in case we got married and had a family of our own. My brothers can clean a home from top to bottom and laundry. My sisters and I can change the oil in a car, shovel snow, mow grass, and rake leaves.
We went to church every Sunday. For me, this is where I started my own personal journey of surrounding myself with people who were positive and cared about my well-being. I am very particular about who I interact with (I don’t know if I have said this before, but…). I enjoy giving people who are pleasant and nice.
You know, and I definitely do, people who (and this is the only way I can say this) talk stupid and act stupid. I realize this sounds harsh, but you all know exactly what I am talking about. And what is scary is, these folks are adults, and they don’t see anything wrong with their behavior. Their lives is usually in turmoil, and instead of taking responsibility for it, they blame everyone and everything else. I keep as far away from individuals like this as I possibly can.
I am unapologetic for this. I have been accused of being standoffish, but you know what? I could care less. My life is precious, and I only have one. I am not going to waste it dealing with folks who don’t want anything out of life, don’t put any effort into making a life for themselves, but want to reap the benefits of it.
There is nothing wrong with being selective, guarding your life, your spirit by being careful of who you deal with. I spoke of this a little before, but it sometimes needs to be repeated. Remember this: you will get out of life what you put out into the universe.
Dianne & Lorin Leavitt definitely puts a lot of inspiring energy into the universe. This is why they are MLM top earners for Synergy Global, and their residual income is $110,000.00 per month. These millionaire entrepreneurs are so motivational that they refer to their team as family members.
It was 1989 when Dianne Leavitt was introduced to multilevel marketing. She felt alone; she was the mother of two boys, and her financial status left much to be desired. To catch up on her mounting bills, she became a piano teacher. It helped, but it wasn’t enough. For years during the nighttime, she would drive to where a company threw away cardboard barrels, take them home, and sell them as storage containers just to make extra money.
This went on until her brother Mark told her, “You’re better than this. I have a business proposition for you.” Dianne jumped at the chance. For the first time in a long time, she felt respected that someone had recognized her work ethic and drive. She worked day and night to make sure her home-based business prospered.
In six months, her residual income was higher than any amount she could have ever imagined. However, the fundamental values she once cherished about network marketing were no longer present with her MLM company, and she began to struggle. Dianne felt uncomfortable, so she quit. And she says, “I was really scared.”
Her biggest worry was that she didn’t want to end up in the financial strain she was in before. She didn’t know how long her family could survive on her savings. It wasn’t even 10 minutes after she quit that a friend called to tell her about a new direct sales company named Synergy Worldwide.
Her prayers were answered. That afternoon, she met Dan Higginson, founder of Synergy, for the first time. If she would have gone to work for another relationship marketing business, she never would have met her husband, Lorin, who works so hard behind the scenes to keep the family and the business together.
Synergy has opened doors for Dianne & Lorin Levitt that was not possible before. Her family traveled to locations that they have always dreamed of and spend more time together. More than anything, this MLM business gives these two the opportunity to help others, which is something that is very important to them.
Dianne and Lorin Leavitt are Double Presidential Executives at Synergy. When Dianne first started, if you told her that she would be making $110,000.00 a month, she would have thought you were lying. On the other hand, she said that when she first heard about Synergy compensation plan, she was doing calculations in her head. And she really did believe she could make $30,000.00 or $40,000.00 a month.
Dianne Leavitt has a reputation around Synergy for her warmth and friendliness. Her team speaks very highly of her. She is praised as a true leader, which is why she is considered a remarkable mentor to independent distributors around the world.
As pros in the industry, if anyone knows what works in network marketing and what doesn’t, it is these two individuals. If you are considering a MLM career, there are some characteristics you must possess. First, and foremost, you have to be a hard worker. Dianne is adamant about this. She says that no one can do the work for you. You have to serve as the tool that keeps your business growing.
Like all the other top MLM earners, she says it is imperative that you attend all events, taking notes and learning from others. On this note, you have to be teachable; it doesn’t matter how much money you earn, you don’t know everything. This is the type of attitude that will get you far in this business.
Di, as Dianne is known at Synergy, recommends having daily goals. One is to make a list of all the people you know, and make it a point every day to call a new person and introduce him or her to Synergy. You have to wear many hats; you have to be a mentor, teacher, and friend to your recruits. It is important that you realize you are responsible for your downline, so you need to be sure that they are trained properly. They must have everything they need to prosper.
In addition to working to grow your network business, you must have personal growth. The requirements include solid communication skills, not only with your customers, but with your team members as well. While Di works the front end of the business, Lorin works the back end, managing their worldwide company and speaking with key leaders. Dianne & Lorin Leavitt said they will always be grateful to Dan Higginson and their team for raising Synergy to new heights.
