Brian Carruthers – LegalShield Top Earner
Networking marketing businesses are booming! Everyone wants to get in on the fun and excitement of running their own company. Being your own boss is start to becoming appealing to the masses. It’s no wonder why. Who wants to work for someone else the rest of their lives?
Back in the day, you could work for a company for 30 – 40 years, and you would retire. But that’s not the case these days. First of all, if you are able to stay on job for more than five years, and not get laid off due to downsizing, upsizing, or whatever corporate word is used, it is a surprise.
Corporations today don’t think twice about laying off workers. You heard it in the news every day. A big-name corporation has to lay off employees. The numbers are staggering; cutting sometimes 1, 000 – 2,000 people. Do you realize that 1,000 – 2,000 people who will no longer get a paycheck?
How are they supposed to support themselves, let alone a family? Never any thought is ever given to this. If it was, there wouldn’t be any layoffs in the first place. I don’t understand how there is not enough money to keep employees, yet the individuals who make the most money in the company (CEO, COO, VP) not only keep their positions, but still receive the six or seven-figure salaries. This makes absolutely no sense.
I don’t blame folks who decide to quit their jobs and go into business for themselves. Honestly, I don’t blame people who quit their jobs, period. Especially, when if they are unhappy. Why in the world would you stay in any place or any relationship in which you are miserable?
Because that is exactly what having a job is: a relationship. And with any relationship, it either works or it doesn’t. What’s more, you don’t (if you have good sense) want to be in a relationship that is like a roller coaster all the time. It is a waste of good energy and time.
There’s another side to this as well. Not everyone who decides to get into multilevel marketing is miserable. Sometimes, people want and need a change. What they are currently doing is not satisfying them.
This was the case with Brian Carruthers. Before starting his direct selling business, he was a successful real estate businessman. A native of the DC/VA/MD area, he inherited his business skills from his dad, who had one of the largest and most successful real estate development companies on the east coast.
At the ripe old age of 30, Brian Carruthers was the mentor and leader of over 95,000 team associates. His objective is to not only get people to declare their dreams, but help them in achieving them. How great is that?
Like I keep saying on my blog, it is a pleasant surprise to read, hear, and write about people who are more than willing to give their time and energy in helping others achieve their time and financial goals. You sure wouldn’t get this type of assistance in corporate America, where the motto is, “Every man for himself.”
Another fact I keep noticing about multilevel marketers is that helping others comes first, the money benefits are second. Brian also gathered knowledge and expertise from the best in MLM, and he applied what he learned to his own multi level marketing business. He and his team are among the most successful entrepreneurs in the U.S.
Brian Carruthers is well-known in the home-based business industry. He frequently gives interviews, and he states that being prosperous wasn’t just a dream, it is what he expected for himself.
Again, I hate to keep sounding like a broken record, but if you want to be successful, you have to envision it, believe it, and work it. Just sitting around daydreaming about being successful isn’t going to cut it.
If you follow the lives of top MLM earners, every last one of them will say that they envisioned themselves with a nice car, pulling into the driveway of a big home. They envisioned going on vacation and just driving right to the airport. They envisioned a time when they could pay each and every bill in their household. No more robbing Peter to pay Paul.
Today, Brian Carruthers earns about $116,000.00 a month from LegalShield. If you haven’t heard about the LegalShield business, you aren’t the only one. Before reading up on him, I hadn’t heard about this MLM company either. But if you want to hear what it is all about, read on.
Started in 1972, LegalShield was first named the Sportsman’s Motor Club. In 1976, it was incorporated as Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. 2011 brought many changes, including being bought by MidOcean Partners, going from being traded on the NYSE to a privately-owned business, and the name change to LegalShield.
As a LegalShield consultant, you offer membership for personal and small businesses. As a member, your customers have access to a number of established law firms in the U.S. and Canada for any type of legal matter. The big pull is the savings on legal fees as compared to paying out-of-pocket.
LegalShield Compensation Plan
Whether you are looking for part-time or full-time, you can make the compensation plan at LegalShield work for you. Although you earn bonuses and residual income like with any other MLM business, there is a big difference with LegalShield.
When you sign up a member, the payment is considered an advanced commission, creating a debit balance that is reduced once the money is received by LegalShield. If one of your members becomes an associate, then you earn a bonus, and this includes from any memberships that are sold. If your recruit signs up a recruit, you earn more money, and so forth and so on (the same process as with any other direct selling business).
This is where your earning potential increases. The only difference I could see was with the advanced commission part. Otherwise, it is the same deal. I know another fact that is a plus for network marketing companies like this that sell services instead of products: you don’t have to worry about lugging around boxes of items that a customer might or might not buy.
You are never along either. There are LegalShield associates around the nation who will assist you while you are growing your business. Additionally, you have weekly and monthly meetings, conferences, and classes (online and in-person) that you can attend. You always have plenty of support from experienced LegalShield consultants, who are more than willing to give you advice and tips on effective selling.
Do you want to ride? If you have envisioned you sitting behind the wheel of a sweet luxury car, along with the six-figure monthly income, you have come to the right place. Another bonus for those who do well is a brand-new Beemer. How cool is that?
This is the first place I have ever heard of that will give its independent distributors a new car. I know many multilevel marketers that have taken their earnings and bought a new car, but never have I heard of a company that will give you one for doing well.
Moreover, how many corporations will give its 9-5 employees a BMW for doing a good job? None that I have heard of (I could be wrong, but I doubt it). Some of them are so selfish and cheap, they don’t even give out bonuses and gifts during the holiday season. Then they wonder why employee loyalty is wavering these days.
That vacation that you have always wanted to take, but could never afford? This is your opportunity to do so. Besides the BMW, there are vacations, residual income (when a member stays signed up for over a year), one-time bonuses, and monthly bonuses. You can earn money on top of money with network marketing. Not bad for a home-based business.
When I was reading the backstory for Brian Carruthers, several points stuck out for me. The first one was that he came into direct selling with his end game already set. He had goals, therefore, he knew what he needed to do on an hourly, daily, monthly, and yearly basis to get to it.
I have said this before, but it bears worth repeating. You must have goals. If you don’t, you are wasting good time, and the time of those that are trying to help you. As a matter of fact, you need to have goals BEFORE you even think about getting into MLM. Network marketing, home-based business, or whatever name you want to call it, is a very goal-oriented sector.
Wishy-washy, half-doing things will not work here. You have to remember that when you are an independent distributor, your goal is not only to sell the services, but to recruit as well. Hence, your actions affect not only your company, but the people in your downline (recruits) as well.
But to be perfectly honest, you should have goals, period. I have written several stories about multilevel marketers with children. If you don’t know, children mimic the behavior of their parents, whether directly or indirectly, whether the child is young or old.
What I am saying is that if you set an example of having goals, taking chances to better your life and the life of those around you, and of working hard to make your dreams come true, your children will do the same.
This is the legacy you want to leave for them. You want them to have an abundant life, a fulfilled, joyous life. With so much unhappiness in the world, your children deserve better. It is your job to see that they get it.
